The Place of Forsyth and RIC-Rack in Dawsonville
Here is the article written about our expansion into Dawson. It is a wonderful opportunity for us to serve our neighbors to the North.
A new warehouse for food has been secured and soon we will be utilizing that space for our storage needs. More information to come!!
We are looking for some lanyards to go with our new name tags.

Need One Awesome Volunteer to teach basic computer skills
Teach how to google, use the internet, etc.... for an eager adult with some learning disabilities. In person, here at The Place. Zoom may be a possibility for the training.

Volunteer for our Seniors
Looking to add 4 volunteers to work with Glenn and the senior food preparation.
Working one Tuesday per month for 2-3 hours--preparing food boxes for the volunteers to deliver to their special senior on Wednesdays. If working to help seniors has a special place in your heart, this may be the job for you. (You will not be delivering food but preparing their groceries for them--to be delivered by another volunteer)
Thrift Store Sorting
The award winning Thrift Store is looking for volunteers to join them in the clothing sorting area.
If opening bags of potential treasures sounds exciting to you, this is your volunteer gig.
You will be helping the thrift store voted Best of Forsyth sort through clothes and recycling those that have stains, rips or tears. VERY flexible days and hours.
Cannot work the whole shift? That's OK!! Just tell us the hours you can be here in the comment section.

We are excited to have join Don our staff here at The Place. Right now, he is working on the details of the new warehouse and getting it set up. Please see hello to him the next time you are in the office.
Calling POWER WASHERS!!
Do you have a power washing company or own power washing equipment and want to do something for others?? We have the opportunity for you!! The Cottage (the home for young ladies who have aged out of foster care) would love to have their driveway and patio freshly washed before the grand opening.
